What’s Sonakshi wearing in the film?
She’s also moving from the village into the city, so we did a test with her with salwar kameezes and cotton sarees. The latter didn’t suit her very much, so we brought in chiffons which gave her a very sexy look. But she still looks small town. She wears printed blouses with polka dots, ambi prints, floral prints, ikkat, tie and dye and block printing. There’s a lot of shading to the saris(some have shaded pleats while the others have plain pleats with shades on the body). The borders have been kept thin.
You can’t overdress Sonakshi with big prints. She looks lovely in solid colours and simple prints. She wears Kurtas teamed with lungis as sleep wear.
